This Saturday, executives and coordinators (Calvin, Kushad, and Saanvi) of North Trail High School's Asian Cultural Club had the honor of attending the All Culture One Day celebration held at Vivo, for Healthier Generations as a volunteer project for Youth Central. From there, we had the opportunuity to learn about Asian culture through music, dance, food, and thoughtful discussion. We also had the opportunity to talk with former mayor and current leader of Alberta's NDP, Naheed Nenshi, on the importance of maintaining cultural diversity and general members of the community. We also had the opportunity to talk with Right Honorable Muhammad Yaseen, Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism, while helping to supervise and setup the overall event.
